Positano is a jewel of the Amalfi Coast and the destination of choice for those seeking the romance and splendor of this magical seaside.

In the 1880s Positano was a sleepy, undiscovered village situated picturesquely between Sorrento and Amalfi. Back then this grand palazzo was the first hotel to welcome travelers to the small fishing town. After World War I it was acquired by its present owners, which include a costume and set designer for famed director Franco Zeffirelli. In 1995 painstaking remodeling began to convert the hotel into seven modern luxury apartments that reflect the high style of both the owners and the town.

Today the apartments may be rented through our site either individually (Bellavista, Belvedere, Carina, Il Salone, La Terrazza, Rosella and Vista), or combined as the Marconi Apartments for larger groups, offering 11 bedrooms, 10 baths, and an assortment of terraces for group dinners.

CARINA:

This luxury apartment has a living room with sofa bed, a bedroom with queen-size bed, bathroom with shower and bathtub and a separate closet in addition to normal storage space. Carina also features a kitchenette, telephone, satellite TV and air-conditioning in the bedroom only.

There is a long narrow balcony where guests may sit and enjoy a quintessential view of Positano.
