Dear Lori and James,
We had a fabulous time and loved every second we were blessed with our visit to Casa San Giovanni. Thank you for working with us through the reservation process and details related to the visit.
Frederica was a delightful hostess and immediately set the tone for our experience in San Giovanni D'Asso and the surrounding Tuscany villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class and thought it gave us a deeper sense of Tuscan cuisine. The kids loved being part of the "class".Mimi C. Eagle ID
We hope someday we can revisit Casa San Giovanni.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Casa San Giovani this past summer. I can't even begin to express how utterly perfect it was. The hostess was beyond charming and the house and property were spectacular. My expectations were high - and was completely overwhelmed by it. I believe everyone shares in my thoughts. It was just spectacular. Grasia (the cook) was unbelievable as well. We took a lesson from her and it was a highlight of the trip.
The pool was perfect for the kids. It was fairly close to every little town we wanted to visit.
We look forward to going back to Italy again soon and would certainly use you all. Plus we like the fact that you are located right here in Philly.
The experience could not have been more "Tuscan".
Just thought I would share.David Y. Downingtown, Pa

In the beautiful countryside of the Val d'Orcia, near the small village of San Giovanni d'Asso, lies Casa San Giovanni, an ancient farmhouse made of stone.
San Giovanni d'Asso is a charming little village in the heart of the Crete Senese, the unique and spectacular countryside south of Siena. Casa San Giovanni is equally unique and provides guests with the perfect blend of classic Tuscan style, fabulous views and contact with Italian life and luxury.
This large house is composed of two apartments, each one with a private entrance: the houses are connected by two doors, one on each floor that can be closed to separate them. This creates an ideal location for two groups of friends or families traveling together. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen and living room to further insure privacy.
The entire farmhouse can be rented to 10-12 people or to individual parties, upon request. One apartment can accommodate 4 people, the other 6-8. If only one apartment is rented, the other part will be closed and not rented to anyone else to ensure privacy to the guests.
On the ground floor is a living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining area and a small terrace. An ancient travertine staircase leads to the the first floor, where there is a small terrace with panoramic view, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom room and two bathrooms with showers. Air-conditioning is available in both bedrooms.
On the ground floor is a large living room with a sofa bed for two people, kitchen, dining area and a small bathroom. The first floor includes a large living room with a fireplace and two sofas, two double bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom and another full bathroom.
In front of the private pool there is a pool house where guests may enjoy outdoor meals on a large table with two benches seating up to 12 people. Inside the pool house is a small bathroom with shower, an extra room with sofa bed and a small kitchen with refrigerator. In the front of the house there is a large, beautiful garden with olive and pomegranate trees. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a wonderful view of the rolling Sienese hills.
