September 2019Lori - you were so patient with all of our questions before the trip and making reservations, etc. We thank you! Gabrielle was an amazing support while we were there. The housekeepers were so friendly and accommodating. Having the groceries there upon arrival was fantastic. The location is fabulous.
We loved the wine festival! We couldn’t believe that they give you an actual glass wine glass and all that sampling for twenty euro. It was a great opportunity to try so many different wines.
Lastly, we were eating so much all day that we actually enjoyed cheese boards and salads two of the nights at the villa and reveled in that beautiful sunset over the vineyard and the wines we had purchased.
Web site is great! Thank you!

July 2012Lori, Everything was wonderful during our week in Chianti - in fact, we ate at the restaurant Vescovino three times! One thing we found most helpful was going to Scandicci and taking the tram via. It was extremely easy. We took the 118 road in Panzano to San Caspiano, then 92 on into Scandicci. As we came down the hill into Scandicci, there is a park. We stopped there and caught the 27 bus (the line ends there), which took us to the tram via, then on to Santa Maria Novella in Florence. On the way back, get off at the last tram via stop (villa something), catch the 27 bus, which takes you back to your car. It was so easy that we went into Florence three times with no hassle. If you have not tried this, I would highly recommend it, as it makes a trip to Florence quite simple. We also went the same way to Pisa and Lucca, taking the Fi - Pi - Li from Scandicci. The villa was wonderful and the kids had a great time exploring and swimming. Thanks for a memorable trip.

September 2011We enjoyed out time at Vigna very much. Gabriele, the manager of the property was very helpful in general. The swimming pool at Vigna was very comfortable. It had sweeping stairs in the pool by which one could walk into the pool, and there was a shallow end. Thus, that pool worked well for the very young (our grandson) and the "getting old," Larry and I who are in our late 60's. One shared washing machines and dryers with the other rentors and this worked very well for everyone. Also, the fact that the property is airconditioned was very important. Although we were there in September, it was quite warm, but much more importantly, the aircodntioning permitted us to keep windows and doors closed, and the tremendous number of biting insects out. Parking was also easier ot Vigna. There is a small marking area close to the swimming pool for all cars. The fact that one could walk into town from the villa was very important for our stay.

July 2010This was our second time staying at Vigna - The property was in perfect condition and the lavender and rosemary bushes were in full perfume. This is causing a real dilemma as it may prevent us from traveling anywhere else. It was just as perfect as the first time. We still can't believe the views from the property and the convenience to town can't be beat. It was terrific. We will likely book it again. And again. In the meantime, you may well be hearing from our family and friends.

August 2009Dear Lori, Please tell me I don't really live in Philadelphia! We're back from our week in Panzano, our house was a dream- I couldn't tear my eyes away from the views over the Conca d'Oro. Lara, Brian, and Anelia were so lovely and made us feel at home. Thank you for your help, I'm already thinking about when I might find some time to return to Vigna. Grazie mille!

July 2009Vigna is an amazing property and Panzano is truly awesome. Just the right size to make it "home" and centrally located for lots of day trips if you can make yourself leave the property. We loved walking through town and our children felt right at home. Restaurants were excellent both in Panzano and neighboring towns. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and we felt like we really got to know them. We also met some really nice people who were staying in another Villa on site. We were sad to leave!
The property was even more beautiful than it looked on the site.

September 2006Monica was a great help in making plans, etc. She arranged babysitters for us and our cooking class. Anila, the housekeeper, was so great. Overall, we loved Vigna, Panzano, and the beautiful countryside! It was so nice to be able to walk to Panzano in just 5 minutes. We loved it and hope to go back one day!

September 2004Dear Lori and James:
Vigna was great! The view was spectacular, the appointments in the apartment were excellent (the tiles in the bath rooms were as beautiful as we have seen), the location was terrific, and the people especially Monica but also Anila the housekeeper and everyone else we dealt with were wonderful.
As I told Joan when we returned I wish we were leaving instead of arriving. Tuscany is such a magical place and the estate, Panzano and the surrounding area can't be beat. We had a very interesting tour of the winery (Marina who showed us around was a very pleasant knowledgable young woman). The wine festival on the last night we were there was superb In short we had a wonderful time and would go back again tomorrow if we could. Thanks for arranging it. We can recommend it with enthusiasm. Karen was also very pleasant and helpful.

June 2004We loved Vigna! It was everything you described and more. Gianna was a warm and welcoming host and we loved the estates wines. Your advice about selecting this property was right on.
