Pricing and Availability Request

If you request pricing and availability for one of our properties we will ask for your name and contact information. We will then store this information for the sole purpose of responding to your request and tracking how many requests we receive for each property.

"E-mail a Friend" and "E-mail This"

If you choose to use our referral service to send a property or archive entry to a friend, we will ask you for your friend's e-mail address and your name. VIA VILLAS of ITALY, inc. stores this information for the sole purpose of fulfilling your request to send this information.

Your friend may contact us at privacy@viavillas.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

If you chose to subscribe to our newsletter we will ask you for your e-mail address. We store this information for the sole purpose of being able to fulfill your request and send you our newsletter.

Communications from the Site

Newsletters If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. We do not want to send you our newsletter if you do not wish to receive it, so we provide you an easy way to unsubscribe. (Please see the "Choice and Opt-out" section.)

TRACKING GIFs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We employ a software technology called tracking gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. A tracking gif is an image with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, tracking gifs are embedded on Web pages and appear as a normal image. We use tracking gifs in some of our HTML -based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients.
